The new Nintendo DS Lite has been doing very well in the marketplace, selling over 135,000 copies on its first two days in the US alone. Now, Nintendo just announced that the best selling game for the DS Lite is the new Super Mario Bros. which has sold more than 500,000 copies of the game since May 15th. The game has taken off in Japan in is expected to be a huge hit in Europe. We can easily expect that this new game will cross the million sold mark very soon. At the rate the game is currently flying of the shelves, 20 copies of Super Mario Bros. are being sold every minute. That is a truly astounding figure.
