In an effort to raise more money for charity, Plantronic has decided to reduce the price of the Halo 2 Headset from $50 to $15 at its online store and is now saying that they will donate a portion of all money they receive through headset sails to charity.

The headsets work with both the XBOX as well as the XBOX 360; however, the volume controls do not always function properly when using the headset with Microsoft’s newest console.

This low price will only be available through direct sales at the company’s web site and for each sale Plantronic will donate $1 to the United Way’s effort to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
