Even before the US release of the Wii, users were able to buy Wii Points and download games for consoles of the past. Here is breakdown of the pricing:

• NES – 500 Wii Points, or $5.00
• SNES – 800 Wii Points, or $8.00
• Sega Genesis – 800 Wii Points, or $8.00
• Gamecube – 1,000 Wii Points, or $10.00
• Turbo Grafx 16 – 600 Wii Points, or $6.00

The games are supposed to be “faithful re-creations” of the old school games. These should be a hit among retro enthusiasts. A complete list of games due out by the end of the year are: (bold names indicate the game is now available)
